On May 18, 2026, a Monday that somehow sneaks into the Weekend Storytime title, the Denver Public Library Central Library sets up shop on the plaza for some outdoor reading and rhymes. Picture books come alive with readings, simple songs keep everyone humming along, and movement activities let the kids wiggle out their boundless energy without wrecking the furniture at home.

Toddlers and preschoolers are the real stars here, probably too busy chasing imaginary dragons from the stories to notice the calendar mix-up.
