OnMonday June 29 2026, if you have small humans who need to do something other than stare at a screen or ask "are we there yet" for the sixth time, the Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus is open and ready to absorb their endless energy. This place is basically a giant laboratory for chaos disguised as learning, with climbing structures, water tables begging to be splashed, and enough blocks and building materials to construct a small fort or at least a very wobbly tower. It works best for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary kids who haven't yet learned that museums are for quiet contemplation, because this one is definitely not that. You can turn it into a half day or full day outing, depending on how long you can last before the coffee wears off.

In the summer months especially, this is a solid option when you want the kids to feel like they're learning something but also want them to come home tired enough to sit still for ten minutes. Parents are welcome to join the fun or just watch from a bench while their offspring engineer a minor flood or climb something that looks slightly unsafe but is probably fine. It is not a marketing pitch, just a heads up that the place exists, it is indoors and outdoors, and on that Monday it will be there waiting for anyone willing to wrestle a toddler into a car and drive within a reasonable distance of Denver.
