The rolls into the National Western Complex near Denver on April 4, 2026, starting at 9 AM and chugging along until 4 PM the next day. Model and toy train fans, plus kids who never quite grew out of playing with them, can wander nearly three acres of elaborate layouts, poke at interactive displays, hop on ride-on trains, and browse vendor booths without dropping a dime on most kid stuff.

Admission runs about 16 bucks for adults, while anyone 12 and under gets in free, leaving plenty of cash for impulse buys like that one essential caboose. Expect some low-key fun with Railroad Story Time for the little ones and Build-A-Layout sessions where even clumsy adults can try their hand at track-laying without derailing the whole operation.
