Mark your calendar for Sunday, August 17, 2025, if you fancy a morning outing around 11:30 AM. The Denver Public Library is rolling out the welcome mat for its Rainbow Family Storytime, a free shindig that's pretty much exactly what it sounds like: stories, color, and a good time for everyone.

This gathering is all about creating a super inclusive and friendly spot, especially for LGBTQ+ families, though all are welcome to join the fun. Expect a healthy dose of storytelling, some arts and crafts to keep little (and big) hands busy, and a chance to just hang out and connect with other community members. It's designed to be a gentle, low-key affair where everyone can feel right at home, no awkwardness required.
