Denvers New Years Eve fireworks go off from rooftops along the 16th Street Mall, free for all, usually around 9pm and midnight. Because nothing says happy new year like double the explosions for those early birds or true night owls who refuse to sleep through the bangs.

Head downtown with the family to catch the festive crowd, some live entertainment, and the glow of city lights without fumbling for tickets. Its all open access, so just wander in and pretend youre not shivering in that classic Colorado chill.
