On August 24 from 4 to 8 p.m., BARBOX at Aspen Grove will host a National Dog Day celebration benefiting Pepper's Senior Dog Sanctuary. This event features a variety of activities, including a DIY painting class with Createry Workshop, where attendees can create colorful paintings of their dogs using a pup-shaped template. Guests can also enjoy live music from Rose Ganache, a bubble foam pit for dogs to frolic in, and a movie screening of “The Secret Life of Pets” at 8 p.m., with pets welcome to join. Food trucks Elevation 5280 and Sunflower Food will offer delicious fare, alongside beverages from the BARBOX, including beer, wine, and cocktails. Additionally, attendees can visit local dog vendors, explore adoption opportunities with Rocky Mountain Lab, and engage in a fun, community-oriented environment. While admission is free, RSVPs are required, and participation in the painting class costs $15 per spot.
