On August 27, 2025 the Downtown Aquarium in Denver will be open with its regular exhibits. There is no special scheduled event that day, but you can explore hands on attractions like the stingray touch and feed tank, the horseshoe crab touch station, and the winding habitats that take you from freshwater to marine environments. These experiences are available with general admission.

Bring whoever fits into your version of a good day out family friendly groups, solo explorers, or people who just like to stare at fish while pretending to be an expert. Expect informative displays, conservation notes, and animals that mostly ignore the signs in favor of swimming.
