Well, if your summer calendar is looking a bit bare around the end of July, the is popping up in Brighton from July 30th to August 3rd. It's touted as Colorado's biggest county fair, which sounds like a lot of fried food and questionable carnival rides are in store. Expect the usual delightful chaos: live music, serious 4-H competitions where future farmers show off their hard work, and enough food vendors to put your diet on hold indefinitely.

And because no fair is complete without some tunes, The Band Perry and Tyler Braden are apparently gracing the grandstand. The best part, if you're keeping an eye on your wallet, is that entry is absolutely free. They'll be open from noon right up until midnight every day, giving you plenty of time to get your fill of fair fun, or at least enough time to regret that extra deep-fried something.
