Grab the family and get ready for a morning filled with tales, crafts, and a dash of fire safety on the first or third Saturday of every month. The Denver Firefighters Museum kicks things off at 10 a.m. with a lively fire-themed storytime, and you'll follow it up with a guided tour of the museum that'll have your kids feeling like the next hotshot firefighter. Each month brings a new story and creative craft because who doesn't want to get their hands sticky with glue and glitter while learning about fire safety? Don't forget to make those reservations so they know how many materials to have on hand; sharing one crayon with a bunch of kids isn't exactly the DIY experience you were hoping for.
Now, let's get to the prices: $15 covers each little one, which includes all the fun and museum access. For the grown-ups, it's $9, and seniors can get in for just $8—everyone loves a discount. Oh, and if you're an adult tagging along with a paid kid, you get in free. Just a little heads up: library passes are taking a backseat for this event, so leave your books at home. For more info or to grab your spots, you can sign up online or drop a line to the Education and Outreach Coordinator. Easy enough to manage, right?
