With two main hangout spots—the 18 Road Trailhead in the Fruita Desert and Downtown Fruita—you'll find plenty of places to flex those pedal-powered muscles or just sip on a craft brew while pretending you totally just conquered that gnarly trail.

The festivities kick off with bike check-ins, which is just code for "let's see how many of us panic about having our helmets on backward."
