Celebrating the cryogenically frozen Grandpa Bredo Morstoel in Nederland, Frozen Dead Guy Days (FDGD) is a unique weekend festival. After over 20 years in Nederland, the festival has found a new home in Estes Park. From March 15th to 17th, 2024, the Estes Park Events Complex and The Stanley Hotel will host contests, live music, great food, parades, and parties, creating a unique celebration of the season. Recognized by The New York Times as one of the "Top 10 Best Parties of Winter," alongside events like Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, FDGD promises a memorable experience. The festival originated in 2002 as a tribute to Grandpa Bredo Morstol, preserved in a Tuff Shed above the town since his overseas transport from Norway after his demise.
