The upcoming Wizards Saturday morning STEAM show features CU Physics Professor Paul Beale, offering an engaging program beloved by family audiences. Professor Beale delves into the realms of heat and temperature, spanning from the big bang's billions of degrees to absolute zero. The show explores these concepts through captivating demonstrations of hot, cold, and cool phenomena. The CU Wizards, a science outreach initiative from the University of Colorado, has been captivating and educating children for over three decades. Held monthly from September to June, these free interactive shows, hosted by esteemed university professors, provide an educational and entertaining start to the weekend. While tailored for students in grades K-8, all are welcome to attend. In-person shows occur during the school year and June, and a video archive allows viewing of previous shows at any time.
