The new ceramics studio is celebrating its grand opening with a summer kickoff party, featuring an array of activities and attractions. The event includes a local art market from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., live music by Perpetual Motion, an art raffle, and food trucks. Attendees can participate in Raku pot firings, explore a new gallery, sample Mammoth Clay, and get a sneak peek of the upcoming Maker Space and rentable studio spaces. Additional highlights include a community art project where guests can carve a clay tile, an antique estate sale, clay and wheel demonstrations, kiln demos, a kids' clay table, and studio tours.
